Ed has performed across festivals, venues, churches, and events throughout the UK and abroad, working with artists, bands, worship teams, and creative projects in a range of live settings.

He is comfortable preparing for shows from tracks, charts, references, setlists, click tracks, and backing track arrangements, and brings a professional understanding of both the drum chair and the wider live production environment.

I have a flexible collection of great-sounding drums, snares, cymbals, percussion and electronics, allowing each live setup to be tailored to the artist, music, venue and production requirements.

  • 1976 Premier Elite Mahogany
    Warm, sustained and very musical. Think organic tone. This kit works amazingly well in situations that require drums with more sustain, tone, and ring. Great for singer songwriters and acoustic music but, with a change of heads, can emulate those huge 70’s rock sounds we all know and love.

    Vintage Maxwin Concert Tom Kit
    That classical concert tom sound, slap on some plate reverb and you have a very 80’s vibe. Add tea towels for that super tight and close sound. Perfect for more intimate songs.

    Yamaha Stage Custom Birch
    Super punchy and suits Jazz, New School Funk or songs that need that “tighter, brighter open” drum sound. Tune it down and it emulates R&B / D&B tones.
