  • “I’ve worked with Ed Hendry across several high-profile projects, and he’s been exceptional every time. A true professional, Ed is versatile, consistent, and always on point for whatever is required. Ed takes direction very well but also brings strong musical instincts, elevating arrangements with thoughtful ideas around tone and arrangement. He’s extremely easy to work with and great company in the studio, quick to adapt, and always goes above and beyond. A rock-solid drummer and a total asset to any session or live setup. ”

  • I first met in Ed 2017 and he made a lasting impression on me. His enthusiasm, willingness to learn and his playing have stuck with me. Of all the students I taught at ACM, he was always the guy who would go beyond what was required. I believed in his abilities so much that he would assist me in lesson prep and transcriptions. Ed is not only an amazing musician and drummer but a great, humble person and a friend."

—Darren Beckett (Brandon Flowers, Madeleine Peyroux, Mark Edwards, Lauryn Hill)

  • "Ed is incredibly easy to work with. He's excellent with communication which is #1 when you're getting drums recorded remotely. He took time to understand the song and our creative vision for the project and the bought his character to the song. Not just a great drummer, but a great engineer as well. Everything was recorded well and you could tell time had been spent getting sounds perfected in his space. Even the little details like making sure the drum tuning complemented the songs tuning. "

    — Dave Johnson (Ekofall)

  • “Whenever I work with Ed, I know he will consistently show up with a clear and professional mindset to every area of his work. Not only does Hope Cottage Studio provide a great sounding room, perfect for recording drums remotely, you also get a hard working, consistent and skilled drummer. Most importantly, as a Producer/Mixing Engineer, the drums sound great as soon as you load them into the session. Ed is a great guy who always gives 100% to make sure his clients are happy.”
