ABOUT
Ed Hendry is a freelance drummer based between Essex and London, available for studio and live session work across a wide range of genres.
With more than a decade of private teaching experience and over 50 commercially released tracks to his name, Ed has built a reputation as a versatile, reliable player both on stage and in the studio.
Recent collaborations include Roxburgh, Alex Hopkins, and Matilda Pratt, with whom he has contributed to live shows, studio sessions, and creative development. Alongside his freelance work, Ed is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Music (London), teaching across the Music Performance (Drums) and Live Production pathways.
Ed also runs a fully equipped remote drum-recording service from his upgraded facility, Hope Cottage Studio, where he produces high-quality drum tracks for artists and creators. The studio additionally hosts his in-person drum lessons. Beyond performance and education, Ed has begun offering audio consultancy, supporting artists, venues, and studios with workflow, production, and live-sound solutions.
Ed runs a remote recording studio based on the Essex coast offering professional drum tracking, percussion services and overdubs.
